Hi and welcome to my web site! I’m a medium who has been writing about mediumship, spirits, and spirituality since 1995.

I started by learning about the religion of Spiritualism, as exemplified by organizations like Lily Dale Assembly in New York (US) and the Spiritualist National Union (UK), and then wrote my first book, Spiritualist Basics. This book and other documents I created were posted on my website called the Spiritualist Religion Page (and later named alseyon.com). Feedback about the site was positive, and even drew praise from some of the Spiritualist clergy.

I’ve been featured as a Top Writer on Quora.com, and several of my answers have "gone viral" so to speak. My top five answers have a combined total of over 1.8 million views. One of my favorites is What do mediums hear when they talk to a deceased spirit? It describes clairaudience from an insider perspective. It has 285 comments and 1,500 upvotes. Another is Why can’t ghosts or spirits come back to their loved ones and tell them how is it like being a ghost or spirit?, which has over 140 comments and 675 upvotes. The comments from people (including other mediums) are great because they add breadth and depth - it's worth your time to read them.  

As my writing became more popular, I created a space on Quora.com called Musings on Mediumship, which is a collection of all the mediumship questions I’ve responded to. It's also the inspiration for the name of this site.

Quora sends out reader’s digests on a regular basis, which are collections of answers sent to users via email. My writing has been sent to users on more than ten different occasions, and five of those were sent to distribution lists of 1,000,000 or more users. One digest was sent to 5,000,000 users!
